A Decade of Data Search, Retrieval and Mining
Over the years I have been involved in many smaller efforts for data search and smart data use. Here are some notable ones:
DHS ASSESS (Automatic Semantic Search Engine for Suitable Standards): A Search Engine built for Department of Homeland Security, for locating industrial standards to be included into their SoW (Statement of Work) documents.
WWAO (Western Water Applications Office, NASA): An approach to identify partnership opportunities between capabilities and stakeholders within the WWAO.

JPL Library: Feasibility analysis on AI driven search and verification of publications by JPL Authors.

JPL Commercial Office: Approaches to find potential commercial partners for JPL using Linkedin graph data and JPL internal employee data.
Polar Deep Insights: The Polar Deep Insights, an NSF EarthCube funded project, aimed at building tools that allow researchers to apply their domain knowledge to train machine-learning (ML) models that will help them find and analyze relevant content on the Web, leading to improved content discovery, information extraction and exploration.
